Morgan Sutton

Morgan Sutton serves as Policy Deputy for Councilmember Krekorian, specializing in homelessness policy, and also initiatives covering economic development and early childhood education. She previously served as Field Deputy for Council District 2, and specialized in addressing "boots on the ground" concerns with city homelessness policies in the district, often bringing a field perspective to city hall.

Morgan got her start working on local political campaigns prior to joining the Council District 2 team. She interned with Senator Bob Hertzberg’s Field Office conducting research and organizing community events. Morgan thrives on working with community leaders to facilitate improvements in the district.

Morgan grew up in the San Fernando Valley, only leaving to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She returned to her home in the valley where she received her Master’s Degree in Political Science with Distinction at CSUN. One of her many hobbies includes hiking the beautiful trails around the valley with good friends. Morgan currently lives in Northridge and enjoys .
