District 2

Los Angeles' Second Council District stretches from Toluca Lake to the edge of Verdugo Mountain Park in Sun Valley. It is a diverse district rich in tradition and history.

As a haven for post-WWII families, it gave rise to a boom that helped transform broad swaths of land from orange groves to suburban neighborhoods. Council District 2 is home to beautiful parks and excellent schools, to the NoHo Arts District — a neighborhood bubbling with creativity — and is the center of film and television production in the entertainment capital of the world. Council District 2 includes the communities of North Hollywood, Studio City, Sun Valley, Valley Glen, Valley Village, Van Nuys and Toluca Lake. It is home to 260,065 Angelenos and 96,059 households.
